Flying over silicon valley is quite an experience. Flying over silicon valley while completing stalls, flips, and barrel rolls is a tremendous experience that will stay with me forever. I highly recommend Erik Schmidt from Aero Dynamic Aviation. He exemplified years of experience, and a keen aptitude for acrobatic flight.

Just went on Friday. My husband did every aerodynamic trick while in the plane. He came back green, but swears he didn't use the 'throw up' bag. Pleasant staff. Interesting environment. Not a touristic event. My husband even got to steer! Not for people who can't handle rollercoasters for sure!

Maybe I am a slow learner but couldn't pull any tricks, though I could fly the plane all right and make turns. The pilot was awesome and knew what he was doing especially the tricks. Big disclaimer though, I started throwing up in the middle of the flight due to the tricks, be prepared for that just in case.

I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone interested. The pilot was knowledgeable, great to fly with and the experience was mind blowing. We pulled 4 G's at one point in a maneuver. I want do this again!

FREEDOM - Thank you to my daughter Lindy and her family for a memory of a lifetime. Eric was a confident and friendly flight instructor. I made sure I had a barf bag with me when we left(which I didn't need). As we took off and gained altatude he gave me the controls and talked me through the flight. He flew me through some hammerheads and then a balisitc roll. I then did a couple of the balistic rolls with the first one better than the second for some reason. Then came the full loop. He flew me through one and then I did two more, it was a lot easier than I imagined. It was a great experience and I want to thank Lindy and family one more time.

It was more thrilling than I could have expected. My wife sent me up for my birthday and I'm still thanking her for the experience. My highly skilled pilot, Erik Schmidt, gave me some simple instructions and soon I was pulling loops, rolls, and hammerheads. I left the 'Cuban Eights' and the stall spins up to him though....I'm still trying to figure out how he did those. All I can say is, I wished I lived closer to San Jose, because it was an awesome experience that I'd love to do again - Soon!

I couldn't believe what I was doing. I put on a parachute and was nervous, but my pilot (Vess) told me he'd never had to use it, so technically I had jumped out of more airplanes than he had. Still though, the thought of flying an airplane with no prior experience was somewhat intimidating. All that went out the window (figuratively here) when we did our first roll. Wow did that get the blood flowing! Soon enough here I was doing all those cool airshow stunts, all by myself! You should too.

AGAIN!!! I want to do it AGAIN!!! My pilot (sorry -forgot his name) gave me the experience I have always wanted. Plus I got to fly the plane and perform a stunt with confidence because of my pilot. I keep telling my wife - AGAIN!!!

Question: The description states that guests are not recommended, but would love to be there as a guest, is that at all possible?
Answer: Acrobatic Flight Lesson In San Jose takes place in a Citabria which seats a Pilot and one passenger. You may go along to the airport as a spectator, but guests are not permitted to ride along as a passenger. We do however offer other Bay Area Flight Lessons which permit passengers to ride along in the plane.
