Take a trip back in time and enjoy a 20 minute Scenic Biplane Ride over Southern Maine. This Acadia Biplane Flight Tour is the best way to take in the breathtaking beauty of Acadia National Park. The adventure begins when you meet your Pilot at the Hancock County-Bar Harbor Airport in Trenton, ME.

Once ready for take-off, your Pilot will fly you over the north end of Frenchman’s Bay and continue eastward along the shoreline of Mt. Desert Island. Highlights of this Acadia Biplane Tour include: Eagle Lake, The Community of Bar Harbor, Bar Island, Egg Rock Light House, Mt Champlain, Otter Cliffs, Sand Beach, Seal Harbor, The Bear Island Light House and Northeast Harbor.

As you head back to the airport, you will fly above the center of the island through Somes Sound and enjoy breathtaking panoramic view of the entire island. This beautiful Scenic Flight Tour of Acadia is a memorable airborne adventure, the perfect experience gift!

Who
The Acadia Biplane Flight Xperience Certificate® is for one participant.

Guests
This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests; but, you may bring spectators to the airport to watch as the Glider takes-off and lands.

You may also invite one guest to join you for the flight if a Biplane Flight For Two Option is selected. The combined weight of both participants may not exceed 400lbs.

When
The Acadia Biplane Flight Experience is offered seven days a week, May through September, subject to availability. Flights may be scheduled between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Duration
The Acadia Biplane Flight Experience has a flight length of 20 minutes and a total duration of approximately 45 Minutes, unless an Extended Flight Option is selected.

Weather
The Acadia Biplane Flight Experience may be cancelled by the Pilot due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather. If the Biplane Flight is cancelled by the Pilot, it will be rescheduled for a mutually convenient alternative date.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, flat rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this open-cockpit aerial adventure.

Additional Information
Participation in the Acadia Biplane Flight Experience is limited to individuals over 10 years of age weighing less than 275 lbs. If the additional guest option is selected, then the combined weight of both passengers may not exceed 400 lbs. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form prior to flight. If the participant is under the age of 18 a parent or guardian will need to sign the form prior to participation.

Price includes tax. Gratuity may be extended to your Pilot at your discretion following the flight.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Acadia Biplane Flight Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
