Question: Are we allowed to fly directly over Acadia National Park?

Answer: Because of noise restrictions, all flights must be conducted at least 1/2 mile outside of Acadia National Park boundaries. However, the views at 2,000+ feet are incredible and from that altitude you'll be able to take in all of the natural beauty of the park.

Question: Can I take my girlfriend with me on the Biplane Flight over Acadia experience?

Answer: Yes! The Waco YMF Biplane is designed for two passengers. However, you must choose one of the flight options for two in the drop down menu above the 'Add to Cart' button. Please note, the maximum combined weight of both passengers must be less than 400lbs.

Question: Does this biplane have an open cockpit? How high will we go?

Answer: Yes, the biplanes used on this flight tour are all open cockpit. The tours typically fly at an altitude of between 2,000 and 5,000 feet.

Question: What should I wear on the biplane over Acadia tour?

Answer: Other than a light jacket, you pretty much dress as you normally would depending on the weather on the day of your flight.

Question: I'd like to give this Biplane Ride as a gift to my boyfriend and ride along with him during the flight. He weighs 300lbs and I'm about 100lbs. Is that a problem?

Answer: Unfortunately participation in the Acadia Biplane Piloted Flight is limited to individuals weighing less than 275lbs.
