Enjoy a 2 Hour Sail Aboard the Tallship Formidable in Beautiful Historic Boston Harbor
Experience the wonder of sailing Boston Harbor aboard the 18th century square-sailed brigantine Formidable. This two hour sail is a beautiful way to see Boston Harbor and enjoy time on the water. As you pull away from the dock, help hoist the sails if you wish, and then sit back and watch the wind fill them, moving the Formidable past some of the most historic sites in the country.
On Saturday sails you can even be a part of a Harbor Battle! This historic battle reenactment features the Poincare and Formidable in a privateer attack with cannons blazing and flags flying. Watch as the Formidable is ambushed by Poincare in Boston Harbor and enjoy the fantastic battle that follows. You will arrive back at the dock with a new perspective on this historic harbor.

The Boston Harbor Sailing Experience is offered Monday thru Saturday June thru August, subject to availability. There are four sails a day departing at 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. |

DURATION
The Boston Harbor Sailing Experience has a sail time of approximately 2 hours and a total experience time of approximately 2˝ hours. |

GUESTS
This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests. |

WEATHER
The Boston Harbor Sailing Experience may be cancelled by the Captain due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather. |
|
 |
WHAT TO WEAR
Dress comfortably, flat, non-marking rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this sailing adventure. |
|

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Formidable is USCG certified to carry up to 49 passengers and she is docked in Waterboat Marina Long Wharf, Boston.
Although food is not served on board, you are welcome to bring your own snacks and beverages onboard, including alcoholic beverages.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All changes to reservations for the Boston Harbor Sailing Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.
Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made. |
