Discover the best view of Boston's skyline — from a kayak on the Charles River! This two-hour Boston Kayaking Skyline City Lights Tour for Two is the best way to enjoy the outdoors and spend time together as you explore Boston.

Your Kayak Tour begins on the Charles River from Kendall Square where you will meet with your Guide and receive a quick introduction to kayak strokes. Once ready, you will launch your double kayak and begin paddling along the Cambridge shoreline. After passing the Great Dome of MIT, you'll cross the Charles to the Esplanade, stopping to enjoy the amazing views, including the Hancock and Prudential Buildings, Citgo Sign, State House Dome, and more!

Next, you'll continue your relaxing paddle under the numerous footbridges of Storrow Lagoon and enjoy a break for snacks and non-alcoholic beverages near the Hatch Shell before you paddle under the Longfellow ("Salt-and-Pepper") Bridge back to Kendall Square. Throughout this Boston Kayaking tour your guide will entertain you with tales of Boston and Cambridge. This Kayak Tour is an unparalleled opportunity to enjoy the city lights after dark and makes a wonderful adventure gift.

Who
The Boston Kayaking Tour Xperience Certificate® is for two participants. There will be additional participants on the tour.

Guests
This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests.

When
The Boston Kayaking Tour Experience is offered on Saturdays and Sundays and select week days, Memorial Day thru Labor Day, subject to availability. City Lights Tours typically begin at 7:00 PM.

Duration
The Boston Kayaking Tour Experience has a tour length of 2 hours and a total duration of approximately 2¼ hours, unless an Extended Tour is selected.

Weather
The Boston Kayaking Tour Experience may be cancelled by the Guide due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, flat, rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this outdoor adventure.

Additional Information
Both participants will be in the same kayak. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe are not eligible to participate. Participants should be able to swim and must wear life jackets at all times during the tour.

Boston Barbeque Tours meet in Boston on Soldier's Field Road. Boston Harbor Tours meet at Kendall Square in Cambridge. Introductory Sea Kayak Trips meet in Newton.

Gratuity for your guide is not included and may be extended following the trip.

All changes to reservations for the Boston Kayaking Tour Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
