Cancellation PolicyDinner Cruise
We were originally scheduled for a cruise out of Marina del Rey on May 8th at 7:30 PM . We were called on May 6th and told the cruise was cancelled (The economy) but we were rescheduled for Newport Beach , May 8th, 7:00 PM, boarding, confirmed by an email. We received another email on May 7th, same confirmation number, with boarding at 7:30 PM. Fortunately, I had not read past the condfirmation number and we left in plenty of time for Friday night traffic and arrived about 6:40 PM. I then read the second email and saw '7:30 PM boarding'. I then saw the captain, Lars, when he came out and showed him the two conflicting emails. He said the 7:00 PM boarding was correct and was not happy about the second one. The cruise wes supposed to return at 10:30 PM but had to rerturn early due to a malfunctiong air compressor. We could stay ion board until 10:30 if we wished, however an earlier departure was fine with us as we had to get up early the next day. The cruise, itself, was very good. It was on John Wayne's yacht, the Wild Goose', actually a WWII minesweeper. The food was excellent and the service very good. Other than the misinformation on one of the confirming emails, it was very nice. Had we followed the second email, they could have sailed without us. That would not have been good!!

Dinner Cruise
The evening was very nice and we had a wonderful time. The only problem was that the servers placed the trays on the dance floor to serve dessert, which hindered the dancing once it finally started.

The ambiance, food, service were excellant the DJ's music was BAD, there were no 'songs' that we could have danced to and most of the 'kids' just stood on the dance floor, wiggled, and waved their arms.
