Learn to take amazing pictures and capture the beauty of Central Park with your camera during a day time or evening long exposure NYC Photography Class. Throughout this two-hour Photography Workshop, your Instructor will teach you the techniques you need to take exceptional pictures.

Throughout this art class you will learn the basics of photography from Professional Photographer and Instructor JP Pullos. He will teach you about exposure, shutter speed and aperture as you capture Central Park on film. Once you’ve learned the basics of photography and how to correctly use the features on your camera, you’ll have plenty of time to take pictures and test your new skills.

So whether you are looking to learn how to take beautiful photographs, a unique way to view the sights of New York or for a creative gift, this Photography Class in New York City is the ticket!

Who
The Central Park Photography Class Xperience Certificate® is for one participant. There will be additional participants in the class.

Guests
This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests.

When
The NYC Photography Class is offered select weekend afternoons and evenings year-round, subject to availability. Day Classes typically begin at 2:30 PM and Long Exposure Classes begin after sunset.

Duration
The Photography Class in Central Park has a total duration of approximately 2.5 hours. The Nightime Long Exposures Class in Central Park has a duration of 2 hours.

Weather
The New York Photography Classes take place in most weather conditions, but maybe rescheduled by the Instructor due to severe storms.

What to wear
Dress comfortably for the days weather. Flat rubber-soled walking shoes are recommended for this outdoor class.

Additional Information
Photography Classes are held in Central Park and lead by a professional photographer who has a passion for photography and teaching.

Participants must bring their own cameras. Digital point and shoot, D-SLR or SLR cameras are all acceptable. The Long Exposure class is best enjoyed with point-and-shoots and SLRs that allow you to manually set your aperture and shutter speed. Additional suggested items to bring for either class include the following: memory cards (formatted and ready to go), extra batteries, and the camera’s manual. Participants in the Long Exposure Classes should bring a tripod and a flashlight.

Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Central Park Photography Class require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
