You and a guest will explore the world of Artisanal's hand-crafted cheeses in an engaging, exciting, and fun tasting experience. This gourmet class will expand your knowledge of cheese types, textures, and cheese presentation.

Artisanal's instructors will show you how to incorporate ease and elegance into your home entertaining. Enjoy pairing cheese and wine and other exciting beverages in classes on cheese and champagne, cheese and cognac, beer, brandy, bourbon, and sake too.

Who
The Cheese and Wine Tasting In New York For Two Xperience Certificate® is for two participants. There will be approximately fifty additional participants in the class.

Guests
This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests.

When
The Cheese and Wine Tasting In New York Experience is offered on select weekday evenings and Saturday afternoons year-round, subject to availability. Evening classes begin at 6:30 PM and Saturday classes begin at 3:00 PM.

Duration
The Cheese and Wine Tasting In New York Experience has a class time of 2 hours and a total experience time of approximately 2½ hours.

Weather
The Cheese and Wine Tasting In New York Experience takes place in all weather conditions.

What to wear
Business Casual attire is suggested.

Additional Information
All classes are held at the Artisanal Premium Cheese Center, located at 500 West 37th Street, on the second floor. The entrance is on 10th Avenue, in the Affinia Hospitality Building. Artisanal Premium Cheese was founded by Chef Terrance Brennan, whose New York City restaurants Picholine and Artisanal Fromagerie & Bistro revolutionized cheese appreciation in the United States.

Participants must be 21 years of age or older.

Where to Stay
Complete your experience with an overnight stay at a Starwood Hotel in New York. Choose from Sheraton, W, Westin, St. Regis, Four Points by Sheraton; all located in prime neighborhoods throughout New York City.

Worth every penny

It was very good. Would have appreciated some info regarding parking since we ended up in a very expensive lot and only a block away it was 1/2 the price. But event itself was fun.

Cheese and Wine Tasting

Overall a very nice experience. Reception was very nice with plenty of cheese and good group of people. Could have had more variety of wines. We are a fan of red wine would have enjoyed more of that. Also our confirmation slip mentioned business casual which we did adhere to but no one else did. Most of the men came in shorts and sneakers. Which my husband would have preferred to wear.

Different not worth the money

Different from what I was expecting. Location is not the best it is out of the way from everything. Do not get there early there is nothing nowhere to sit and wait at. The front lobby is nothing more than a security desk, not even a chair to sit on and outside is like being on a highway with 100s of buses. It was more like visiting a warehouse then a wine and cheese tasting. Oh it is really a Cheese and wine tasting. Cheese was interesting the wine not so good. Take the money and go to a vineyard in the country much better spent.

Cheese & Wine Class - A Lot of Fun

Class starts with a white wine welcome reception - don't show up late or the best cheeses will be gone. Then we were wisked into a classroom with 3 wines, 6 cheeses and 7 chocolates (special class) set up in front of us. The wines were only so-so, but the class is more about the cheese anyway. I thought the information was beginner level but the cheeses were more advanced and not very suttle or approachable. Don't get me wrong, they were delicious, just potent. The class we were in had a chocolate pairing as well, and the that part was definitely amazing. I recommend eating lightly, if at all, before attending the class.

NYC Wine and Cheese Class

When I signed up for this class I was unaware that it was specifically for the Mediterranean Diet, wine and cheese pairing, but I liked it anyway. The teacher gave us SOO much information which was very helpful. I would have liked to try a few more wines (we only had 2), but the cheese selection was great. Would definitely recommend for friends!
