Join Chef Jacques Haeringer at the award winning L’Auberge Chez Francois in Great Falls, Virginia for an entertaining cooking demonstration class and a delicious meal with wine paring. Chef Jacques will share his passion for classic and contemporary French cuisine with you and your guest as he demonstrates expert cooking techniques and tricks of the culinary trade.

Following the culinary demonstration hosted by Chef Jacques, you will dine on a gourmet five-course luncheon, paired with three fine wines. Selected by L’Auberge Chez Francois’s sommelier, Paul Haeringer, each wine will be presented and discussed by a vintner during the course of this delicous meal.

Whether you are looking to learn how to cook French Cuisine or learn gourmet techniques from an accomplished Chef, this Culinary Demonstration is a delicious experience and makes a great gift!

The Chef Jacques Culinary Demonstration takes place at L’Auberge Chez Francois a French Country Inn nestled in the middle of the woods of Great Falls, VA. Chef Jacques and his staff have won numerous awards, such as the coveted AAA four Diamonds. The restaurant has been voted Washington, DC’s “Most Popular” and “Most Romantic” by readers of Washingtonian Magazine for 17 years.

His articles and recipes have been featured in Bon Appetit, Gourmet, The Gourmet Retailer, Wine & Spirits, Southern Living, Cosmopolitan, Better Homes and Gardens, and Cooking Light. In addition to his own popular PBS cooking show Two for Tonight, Jacques has appeared on several national television programs including The Today Show, CNN, Fox News, ABC World News Now, and The Victory Garden on PBS. Jacques can also be heard the first Friday night of each month serving up Lewd Food on the nationally syndicated Food & Wine Radio Network.

DINNER WITH CHEF JACQUES

WE HAD A LOVELY EVENING WITH A DELICIOUS 4 COURSE MEAL STARTING WITH APPETIZERS ( I GUESS THAT WOULD BE THE 5TH COURSE). EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS AND CHEF JACQUES EXPLAINED HOW HE HAD PREPARED EACH COURSE. WINE WAS SERVED WITH EACH COURSE AND EXPLAINED HOW IT WAS CULTIVATED ( CALIF. WINE THE DISTRIBUTORS WERE THERE TO TELL ABOUT THEIR WINE. THE OTHER GUESTS WERE VERY NICE AND WE HAD INTERESTING CONVERSATION. THE SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING. IT WAS A GOOD EVENING. WE WERE EXPECTING A DEMONSTRATION BUT IT WAS A WINE DINNER. LOVELY EVENING ANYHOW.

Perfection!

L'Auberge is charming and authentic, the staff is warm and very professional, Chef Jacques is so personable and funny, and the food is absolutely, unbelievably wonderful! (check out the gorgeous patio area). The cooking demonstration was very 'up close and personable' paired with good wines and you get the recipes, too! Lots of 'regular customers' and no surprise, once you've eaten here, you'll be back. In fact, we've changed our fall vacation plans to travel through Alsace!

Chez Francois Demo Review
