Learn how to bake perfect pies every time from Professional baker and educator, Penny Keaton, the Pie Queen. This Baking Class is simple, fun and foolproof pie-making - perfect for everyone. Penny learned to bake as a young girl and over the years, she has developed pie recipes and techniques that she will teach to you.

During this Pie Baking Workshop, you will learn how to make a fresh, flaky pie crust from scratch in about the same amount of time it takes to read the ingredients on the package of a frozen pie shell! You will also learn how to create delicious pies using healthier, less processed ingredients with less refined sugar and no trans-fat. Plus, you will even take home your mouth-watering creation to enjoy.

From Penny's blue ribbon-winning apple and pumpkin pies to her third place cherry pie, you will learn the secrets of how to make the perfect pie. Classes are taught by Professional baker and educator, Penny Keaton. Penny, a blue ribbon winner, pie baker, educator and author of award-winning pie class on DVD, has successfully taught thousands. Sur la Table, Williams-Sonoma, Whole Foods Market and the L.A. County Fair are some of the venues where she conducted her classes and demo's.

If Pie Baking Workshop For Two is selected, both students must select the same type of pie to make.

Question: I was thinking of purchasing a gift certificate for the Pie Making Class in Los Angeles for a friend. Where does the class take place?

Answer: This is an In-Home private cooking class. The chef travels to the participants home and brings all necessary equipment and ingredients.
Question: How far will the chef travel to give a class?

Answer: Penny will offer classes anywhere within LA county.
Question: I am interested in purchasing this gift for my daughter and I to do together. What kind of pie will we make in the class?

Answer: You will get to choose the type of pie you would like to make. You will be able to discus options with the chef before the date of your reservation. If you choose to have an additional person in the class you must both choose to make the same pie.
