Had an excellent experience attending Karen Lee's cooking class. Not only was it extremely informative regarding cooking techniques, but I also learned a great deal about ways to incorporate heathy ingredients into my meals. And, the food was spectacular. What made the day even more enjoyable was the other people who attended. This was an all around fantastic afternoon!

I had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Karen and her assistant were well prepared. She is knowledgable and professional in her approach to cooking. The food was varied and fresh. Her enthusiasm was contagious during the evening, which finished with a delicious dinner and friendly conversation. My thanks to Karen, and to my daughter who gave me this excellent father's day gift!

I really had a wonderful time in the karen lee cooking class. even though I cook everyday for my kids and husband, I learned a lot of new things! and i've been using what I learned in my kitchen. How great is that! Besides all the food itself, I really enjoyed time with Karen & other people in class. It was such a great night. Thanks karen.

Although Karen is very pleasant and certainly passionate about cooking, this was the worst class I have ever taken. The working environment was totally in disarray and the presentation was completely unorganized...we ate the fish (an entree) first, before any appetizers, and there was poor time management throughout the night. Like watching a bad movie, I couldn't take anymore and left half way through...thank goodness this was a gift and I didn't pay for it myself!

This was my first cooking lesson and Karen certainly set the bar. It was informative and informal at the same time. It was a great evening of learning to make interesting dishes and then enjoying it after. I would highly recommend her class!

Karen's energy and passion about food are unmatched and this cooking class is one of a kind. The intimate setting in her own kitchen and the fresh ingredients make this a fantastic class for anyone who loves to cook or just loves delicious food. I left the class ready to sign up for a second one and raved to my friends and family to join me.

I would definitely do this again! My son bought me this cooking class certificate for Christmas, and I really enjoyed it. I met some really nice people, Karen Lee was a sweetheart, and I learned so much. I left the class with a full belly, and a few tips to bring home and share with my family! Thanks Karen Lee!!!

I went a couple of months ago and just getting around to the review....we had a asian inspired session with recipes ranging from Hummus to Orange Beef. Everything was tremendous. It is a very intimate with 10 people or so in her apartment. It really was a great experience and I learned some tips. I would recommend going with your significant other. Definitely looking forward to another session in the future!

The cooking class that I did this past weekend with Karen Lee was great! The meals we cooked were absolutely delicious and made me want to eat foods in the future that I would normally shy away from. I have already tried cooking one of the fish dishes Karen taught us and was very happy that it turned out almost as good! The classes are a good size and I really liked that we all got to see each dish being made so we could all pick up the little tips that help when you are at home with the recipe. I definitely look forward to future classes with Karen!
- Linda - NYC, Tuesday, November 10, 2009
I really enjoyed Karen's class this past weekend. Her style of teaching is warm and inclusive.....I've been cooking for 40 years and learned so many new things. Such an enjoyable group of participants too! I got this class as a gift and have asked for another. I did a review on Yelp and emailed about 20 of my friends. Another class.....here I come!

Just took Karen's Cooking in NY class. Everything was delicious. Being married for 45 years I didn't think there would be new things to learn. I was so wrong! I learned several new tips that I can use in my everyday cooking. I've even passed them along to my married daughters. Great class!

I received this as a gift and it was absolutely wonderful! In fact, I've just scheduled my second class. It was great to cook and learn in a low-key, casual environment. Not only is Karen a talented chef and teacher, she has a wealth of information on everything from cooking techniques to nutrition. Plus her food is very fresh, delicious and healthy!

This was a Xmas gift from my nephew and daughter and I can truly thank them. I loved this class and I plan to take many more. I enjoy cooking and I have already put into use a lot of what I learned in the class. This class is great for the novice and the experienced cook as well.

This was my 2nd cooking class, and Karen was great. She has a lifetime of experience, a positive energy, and she obviously loves food and cooking. We learned a lot, made delicious food, and got to enjoy our hard work (I even ate scallops (I don't like them). all together a great time!
