Your day begins by helping with the inflation of the balloon either at sunrise or sunset. Then it's time to embark on the most serene yet thrilling aerial adventure of your life. You and your guest will throroughly enjoy the sensation of floating through the sky as you fly in a Hot Air Balloon over Southern California. While in flight, the two of you will experience breathtaking views of the beautiful Southern California landscape including: Del Mar, the Pacific Ocean, million dollar mansions, and picturesque mountains.

Once you have landed smoothly, the balloon is packed away, and a ride will be provided back to the launch site.

Who
The Del Mar Hot Air Ballooning For Two Xperience Certificate® is for two participants. There will be approximately four additional participants on the flight.

Guests
This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests.

When
The Del Mar Hot Air Ballooning Experience is offered year-round, subject to availability. Del Mar Hot Air Balloon flights take place at Sunset. Sunset times will vary upon the time of year the flight is scheduled.

Duration
The Del Mar Hot Air Ballooning Experience has a flight time of approximately 1 hour and a total duration of approximately 3 hours.

Weather
The Del Mar Hot Air Ballooning Experience may be cancelled by the Pilot due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, flat rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this open air adventure.

Additional Information
Participation in the Hot Air Balloon Experience is limited to individuals weighing less than 220lbs and less than 6’5” tall.

Participants must be able to stand for a minimum of 90 minutes, should be at least 8 years of age and also a minimum of 4’ tall.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form prior to flight.

Due to the popularity of this experience, we recommend that you request dates for this Hot Air Balloon Flight a minimum of three to four weeks in advance.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Del Mar Hot Air Ballooning Experience require fourteen (14) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
