Can you dig it? Experience the excitement of operating Heavy Equipment from behind the controls of a CAT 312 Steel Track Excavator during this hands-on Heavy Machine Operator Experience in Sarasota, Florida!

Just 50 miles south of Tampa, this Digging Experience takes place on a 21 acre undeveloped “job-site”. Here you will discover first-hand what it is like to hop into the cab of a Caterpillar Hydraulic Excavator and take the controlls! The two-hour adventure begins with an over view of the machine and safety procedures. Once fully briefed, you will learn to maneuver the CAT through the challenge course as you communication with your Instructor on the 2-Way.

Who
The Sarasota Heavy Equipment Xperience Certificate® is for one participant.

Guests
You may invite up to four guests to watch your digging adventure.

When
The Sarasota Digging Experience is offered on weekends year-round, subject to availability.

Duration
The Digging Adventure includes has a total duration of approximately 2 hours, unless an Additional Option is selected.

Weather
The Heavy Equipment Experience in Sarasota may be cancelled by the Instructor due to heavy rain or other inclement weather. If the event is cancelled due to weather, a rain check will be issued.

What to wear
Comfortable clothing and flat closed-toed rubber soled shoes such as sneakers or work boots. Long-sleeved shirts and pants are recommended. You will get a little dirty, so please keep that in mind when selecting your attire. You will be provided with all necessary safety gear.

Additional Information
Participants in the Operator Digging Experience will receive a safety and equipment orientation, a commemorative photo and operate a CAT 312 or 315 Steel Track Excavator.

Participant’s should be familiar with and able to drive a vehicle with manual transmission.

Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe in racing conditions are not eligible to participate. Participants must be at least 5' tall and 18 years of age. Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Cancellation Policy
Changes to reservations for the Sarasota Heavy Equipment cannot be made once the date of this Experience is reserved.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
