Just over twenty miles southwest of LA is Santa Catalina Island, one of Southern California’s most popular playgrounds. It boasts clear waters, schools of flying fish, Sea Lions, Dolphins and more exciting wildlife!

This hour long Sea Lion and Dolphin Excursion is the perfect way to discover the beauty of the Catalina waters for yourself. Departing just steps from the Catalina Terminal Landing in Avalon, you’re Pacific Ocean adventure takes place on an inflatable powerboat. Once aboard, you will head out to Seal Rock where you'll have a chance to enjoy views of California Sea Lions, secluded beaches, herons and more. Before the trip is over you’ll also head out to sea in search for dolphins!

Who
The Catalina Sea Lion and Dolphin Cruise Xperience Certificate® is for two participants. There will be additional participants on the boat.

Guests
This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests.

When
The Sea Lion Tours are offered seven days a week year-round, subject to availability. Tours begin at 10:00 AM, 11:15 AM, 12:15 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM and 3:45 PM.

Duration
The Catalina Dolphin & Sea Lion Excursions are approximately 60 minutes long.

Weather
The Scenic Cruises may be rescheduled by the Captain due to poor weather conditions such as heavy fog.

What to wear
Dress comfortably and appropriately for the boat ride. We recommend that you wear your bathing suit with a set of clothes over it. Please remember to bring a towel, sunscreen, soft soled shoes (sandals, or flip flops) plus a sweatshirt or jacket. Changing rooms and lockers are available.

Additional Information
Participants must be over 3 years of age, be able to swim and feel comfortable in the water.

Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones, a bad back or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe are not eligible to participate. Children must be accompanied by a Parent at all times.

Gratuity for your guide is not included and may be extended following your tour.

Transportation to and from Catalina is not included.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Catalina Sea Lion and Dolphin Cruise Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
