Learn the Ropes of Endurance Kart Racing

Experience the thrill of the track with this full day Kart Racing Adventure. Feel the G's of speed while driving two inches off the ground at speeds up to 47mph+ as you learn to drive a racecar!

Your Karting Experience begins with classroom and hands-on training in order to learn the art of racing. The classroom lesson provides an overall orientation and an introduction to the kart.

This one-day race school is designed to maximize your actual drive time on the track. First, you will learn to drive at a slow, constant speed while you get familiar with the kart, learning the proper race line, turn-in point, apex and exit of turns. You will follow your Instructor who will lead you around the track, demonstrating the line with proper turn-in points and exits.

Once you are comfortable driving the kart you will experience this racing vehicle's limits, learn how to counter steer to correct the “oversteer condition” created by the excessive speed, and learn to use proper braking and lifing. Individual feedback from an instructor is given with each pass by. 

Next, it is time to drive closely with an instructor or a fellow student at a medium, constant speed - getting ready for the fast lead-follow. Two karts are tied together with a plastic string to add to the challenge and shorten the learning curve. Increasing the speed, the next exercise focuses on passing and racing line. During this driving session, you will drive at a medium-2-high speed as the instructor demonstrates the correct racing line.  

Now you are ready to review the racing line from an out-of-kart track perspective as your Driving Instructor discusses the fine points of reading track surface, correct corner entry implications and incorrect corner entry ramifications.

After lunch it is time to hit the track again for your High Speed Sessions!  These are longer, full speed kart racing sessions. Your Instructor will provide individual feedback throughout the session and emphasize correct racing line, turn in, braking and acceleration points, and open passing so you can shave seconds off of your lap time.
