Question: I was interested in purchasing this for a vegetarian, will that be a problem?
Answer: Vegetarians are welcome to participate in the classes, however all classes do include meat.
Current Classes Offered Include:
CHINESE
Wonton soup, peanut noodles, mandarin beef with snow peas and red peppers in a brown sauce, honey hoisin ribs, pork potstickers, lettuce wraps, shrimp swallows with a cherry lemon sauce,, Kung Pao pork, mango chicken, fried rice, and crab rangoons with a blackberry ginger sauce.
THAI
Chicken coconut soup, spring rolls with plum sauce, shrimp pad Thai, pork sates with peanut sauce, pineapple fried rice, and coconut flan with Thai bananas, pork panang curry with basil, pineapple and peanuts, pesto salmon with a spicy sour cherry sauce, green mango salad, bang bang shrimp, and mango sticky rice.
THE ART OF DIM SUM
Beef sates, crispy almond shrimp balls with a cherry lemon sauce, firecracker shrimp, chili beef wonton purses, Thai chicken pizza, Mandarin chicken balls with a sweet and sour sauce, beef potstickers, steamed shrimp & chicken sui mai with a peanut sauce, coconut shrimp, pork toasts, herb and chicken fresh rice paper roll, and a Vietnamese lemongrass grilled beef sandwich with Asian mayo, herbs, and chilies on French bread.
CHINESE NEW YEAR PARTY
Crispy jalapeno beef with broccoli, shrimp on a bird’s nest, Hunan pork in chili sauce, crab fried rice, velvet corn soup, and beef wonton purses with a plum sauce and banana wontons in a rum coconut cream sauce for dessert. (BYOB)
COMFORT FOODS
Winter squash soup, homemade rolls, chicken & dumplings, kicked-up mac & cheese, and a decadent coconut cream tart for dessert.
FRESH PASTA, PASTA, PASTA
Spaghetti carbonara (eggs & pancetta), homemade cannelloni crepes a meat filling & topped with a quick tomato butter sauce & béchamel sauce, potato gnocchi in a tomato basil butter sauce, hot Italian sausage ravioli with a butter & sage sauce, Caesar salad from scratch, and tiramisu for dessert.
GREEK DINNER
Mediterranean pizza with ground beef, mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes & feta, baked chicken with orzo, moussaka made with zucchini instead of eggplant, Greek panzanella salad and galakbourekos for dessert (phyllo roll-ups with lemon custard).
INDIAN DINNER
Shrimp tikka skewers with mango chutney, chickpea chili flatbread, roast chicken with almonds, pistachio & apricot biryani (rice casserole) mint riata, and kheer for dessert.
MASTERING PHYLLO AND PUFF PASTRY
Baklava, chocolate napoleons, Viennese apple strudel, savory palmiers, mini meatloaves in puff pastry, honeyed fig, pancetta, & blue cheese puffs, and praline pumpkin mousse cornucopias.
MOROCCAN DINNER
Minted lamb and mushroom kebabs with a yogurt, mint, & raisin sauce, pan fried Moroccan bread with filled with lamb & ricotta cheese, salad with fennel, oranges, pomegranates & radishes, T’faya couscous with chicken (thick sweet sauce with onions, raisins, & cinnamon) and Keneffa (special occasion dessert with phyllo, custard, almond filling, and fresh berries.
TASTE OF SPAIN
Flatbread with shrimp, hummus, caramelized onions, and arugula, Manchego croquettes with a quince sauce, sautéed champinones (variety of mushroom with herbs), paella (rice casserole) with chicken, almonds, & olives, sangria, and homemade churros with hot chocolate for dessert.
