Experience the thrill of flying in a Cessna over The Big Easy! During this exciting experience gift you'll fly over the Louisiana coastline and enjoy amazing birds-eye views of the picturesque landscape below - so don't forget your camera.

The fun begins at the Lakefront Airport when you meet with your Pilot who will escort you and your guest out to the tarmac. Next, you will board the Cessna 172 and get ready for take-off. Once cleared, Pilot will taxi the plane down the runway and take-off into the Louisiana skies. The Flight Tour of New Orleans is offered seven days a week year-round, subject to availability. Flights may be scheduled between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

How Long Is It

The Scenic Flight Over New Orleans includes 30 minutes of flight time with a total duration of approximately 45 minutes, unless an Extended Flight Option is selected. Flight time is defined as the time from engine start to engine shutdown. This includes the time it takes to get from the ramp to the runway and back, before and after takeoff and landing.

The New Orleans Scenic Flight may be rescheduled by the Pilot due to severe weather such as high winds, fog or heavy rain.

What To Wear

Dress comfortably, layers and flat rubber-soled athletic shoes are recommended for this aerial adventure.

Flights take place in a Cessna 172. Participation is limited to individuals weighing less than 250lbs. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form prior to flight. If the participant is under the age of 18 a parent or guardian will need to sign the form prior to participation.

Gratuity for the Instructor is not included and should be extended following the flight.
