Learn how to fly a light aircraft as you take over the controls of a Cessna 172. Your Discovery Flight Lesson begins with approximately 20 minutes of ground instruction where your Certified Flight Instructor will teach you how the aircraft flies, the purpose of the various controls, how to read the gauges, and what to look for when conducting the pre-flight inspection.

After the completion of your ground instruction, it's time see what it's like to be a pilot during your 30 minute hands on flight lesson! This flight is usually conducted in close proximity to the airport in Crystal, Minnesota, but you will have a chance to see Minneapolis and its’ surrounding areas in the distance.

With the ground school and flight combined, by the end of this aerial adventure, you will have a basic understanding of how to fly an airplane all on your own! Whether you are looking to begin a new hobby or simply interested in seeing what it feels like to take over the controls of a plane, this Discovery Flight Lesson will be unforgettable!
