With a lively promenade, beautiful beaches, historic architecture and a colony of resident seals and sea-lions, it’s easy to see why La Jolla is often referred to as ‘San Diego’s Jewel’. Meet your running squad at La Jolla Cove and get warmed up before starting your 5km course along the area’s stunning coastline. The route meanders through historic La Jolla and along Whale View Point, Children's Pool, La Jolla Cove, and the Cliff Walk. Your guide will give you plenty of opportunities to stop to catch your breath and take some epic selfies in front of the idyllic ocean scenery, while telling you all about La Jolla’s unique culture and history. It’s a great option no matter whether you’re an experienced runner or a total novice, as the run can be tailored to your pace and fitness level. The tour ends with a relaxing 5-minute runners’ yoga session to make sure your muscles are well stretched out, and a complimentary beverage so you can rehydrate.

Our pace is determined by the participants of the tour. These are fun, casual tours, meant to include all running abilities. Typically, the pace is between 9 - 11 minutes per mile, with a few stops for photo opportunities and learning about the surroundings.

You will be provided with water and a t-shirt.
