Saturday evening cruise
This was our 2nd cruise. We liked the cruise we took last year on the Spirit of Chicago, better. We like the buffet, you could spread out your eating time and their was floor entertainment. On this cruise we were done eating by 8:30 or so with nothing else to do. Of course you could dance or listen to the music. The drinks were terrible (margarrita and chardonnay). We also felt like we were on the 'love boat.' So many people 'making-out' on the upper deck. After sitting on upper deck for over 1 1/2 hours, a wedding party movie camera man spoiled our view of fireworks with bright lights of camera along with the posing distracting newly married couple. People had to move out of their way while a movie was being made of them watching the fireworks. My husband and I concluded that maybe Saturday night was not the best time for us, Wednesday night was better last year, different crowd. The band and singer on the cruise were very good. I liked their selection of music. We enjoyed last year, but were disappointed this year.
