Sit back, relax and enjoy a three-hour private Sailing Charter on Lake Michigan. With unique sites, peaceful sounds and a delicious meal aboard the 41 ft. Newport Sailing vessel Espiritu, this is sure to be a delightful escape and an exciting trip on the Lake.

On this three-hour skippered sail you and your guest(s) will embark on an incredible sightseeing cruise on magnificent Lake Michigan, departing from Gaslight Pointe Marina in Racine, Wisconsin. You may choose an afternoon sail and enjoy a delicious lunch or a sunset sail with a delectable dinner.

While onboard the sailboat, your Captain, John, and his wife and First Mate will provide a relaxing and personalized sailing experience including delicious food, snacks and beverages throughout this nautical adventure. Whether you choose to try your hand at the helm, raise the sails or simply sunbath, spending time on Lake Michigan together creating memories during this Private Skippered Charter For Two is a wonderful experience.

Who
The Gourmet Sailing on Lake Michigan Xperience Certificate® is for two participants. You may select to add two (2) additional guests from the options menu. This is a private experience.

When
The Gourmet Sailing on Lake Michigan Experience is offered seven days a week May thru October, subject to availability. Sails depart at 12:00 PM or 5:00 PM.

Duration
The Gourmet Sailing on Lake Michigan Experience has a sail time of approximately 3½ hours and a total experience time of approximately 4 hours.

Weather
The Gourmet Sailing on Lake Michigan Experience may be cancelled by the Captain due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to wear
Warm comfortable clothing and layers are best for this nautical adventure. There will be plenty of spray from the ocean so a warm weather-proof jacket is strongly advised and light colored rubber soled shoes are needed. Sunglasses and hats are also highly recommended.

Additional Information
Sails take place on the board the Espiritu a classic, fully-equipped 41’ Newport sailing vessel. This beautiful sailboat has all of the comforts of home with state-of-the-art electronics, CD, DVD, HD stereo, HD TV, full Galley, and restroom.

The final details of your trip will be decided on the day of your experience, taking into account your preferences, experience and the day's conditions.

Your Captain, John Gauthier, is a licensed Great Lakes Captain with over 20 years of sailing experience.

Participation in the experience is limited to individuals 3 years of age or older. While motion sickness is possible, it is unlikely and can be reduced by avoiding heavy meal(s) prior to the scheduled sail. All passengers must sign a Liability Release Form. Gratuity for the Captain and Crew is not included, but may be extended following your sail.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Gourmet Sailing on Lake Michigan Experience require fourteen (14) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
