Price for 2 participants
Explore the photographic works of Gary Marlon Suson, the Official Ground Zero Photographer, which document the Ground Zero Recovery efforts during this two-hour Museum Workshop Tour for two. Located on West 14th Street in Manhattan, New York’s Ground Zero Museum Workshop offers non-graphic and tastefully presented imagery and accompanying stories of the never-before-seen world of the "Recovery" at the World Trade Center. Rated in the Top 10 NYC Attractions by Trip Advisor and known worldwide as the "Biggest LITTLE Museum in New York", exhibits include one hundred of Suson’s most notable photographs including the Ground Zero Bible Page, the Clock stopped at 10:02 AM from September 11 and several Honor Guard images. In addition to the extraordinary images, you will also view: · Artifacts from the Recovery · Items worn by Recovery workers · Actual tools that were used for digging · Rare video footage from inside the World Trade Center Throughout this Workshop Tour you and your guest will have the opportunity to pick up and hold certain items in order to further your understanding of what took place during the 9/11 Recovery. Whether you are a New York native or visiting Manhattan for the first time, this Ground Zero Tour will provide insight about this historic event.
The cost of books, posters, prints, or other remembrance and gift items is not included in the tour price, but you will be provided with 15 minutes at the end of the tour to purchase these items from the Ground Zero Museum Workshop Store. Gratuities for your personal tour guide are acceptable, optional and always appreciated. Occasionally Mr. Suson will personally conduct a tour, but he does not accept gratuities. By far this is the most incredible must see of New York City. An incredible tribute to the heroes of that day as well as a tribute to all those who lost their loved ones. I will be sure every time I come home to New York to spend time at the best biggest little museum!!!
