Enjoy a full day sightseeing adventure with the Heart of the George cruise. Upon departure you will head North from downtown Portland on the Willamette River and join the Columbia river after passing Kelley Point Park. Watch as Portland's skyline unfolds into the natural beauty of Multnomah Falls and the majestic Gorge and enjoy a historic account of the Lewis & Clark expedition and other fascinating stories of the "Great River of the West."

You will then continue east on the Columbia River, following the Oregon and Washington border and experience the Locks at Bonneville dam. Finally, you will cruise to the "Heart of the Gorge," Cascade Locks. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at Marine Par and shop at the Visitor's Center Gift Shop before a relaxing return trip to Portland.

Who
The Heart of the Gorge Cruise For Two Xperience Certificate® is for two participants. There may be up to a forty additional participants on the cruise.

Guests
This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests.

When
The Heart of the Gorge Cruise Experience is offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, June thru September. Cruises board at 8:45 AM, depart at 9:00 AM and return at 4:00 PM.

Duration
The Heart of the Gorge Cruise Experience has a sail time of approximately 5 hours and a total duration of approximately 7½ hours.

Weather
The Heart of the Gorge Cruise Experience cancelled by the Captain if there are severe weather conditions.

What to wear
Casual attire is suggested. Flat, rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this adventure.

Additional Information
The price includes the cruise itself and a $10 voucher for lunch at Locks Cafe.

Passengers must be at least 42" tall to participate.

The Outrageous is an adventure jet boat; it does operate at a high speed, which is part of the experience. Passengers should be free of neck or back problems. Individuals who are pregnant or prone to motion sickness you may not choose to ride.
