Take the controls of either a Bell 47 or a Schweizer 300CBI Helicopter and fly over beautiful Lancaster County its historic Amish Country during a 60 minute Hands-On Introductory Helicopter Flight Lesson. This airborne adventure begins with 10 to 15 minutes of ground instruction during which your Certified Instructor will teach you about the Helicopter, its flight controls, how to read the gauges, what to look for in conducting the pre-flight inspection, how to make sure the helicopter is safe to fly and finally, how the helicopter actually flies.

Once ground instruction is complete, you will climb into the Co-Pilot’s seat and get ready for take-off. Once in the air, you will enjoy amazing views of Lancaster County as you learn to pilot a helicopter. With the help of your flight instructor, you will have the opportunity to experience various flight conditions, including: straight and level flight, climbs, turns and descents, plus the most memorable, hovering! With the ground school and flight combined, after this exciting Helicopter Flight Lesson you will have a basic understanding of How to Fly a Helicopter all on your own!

When
The Helicopter Flight Lesson In Lancaster Experience is offered seven days a week year-round, subject to availability. Flights are typically scheduled between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Duration
The Helicopter Flight Lesson In Lancaster Experience includes 10 to 15 minutes of ground instruction, an average flight time of 60 minutes and is typically 1½ hours in total duration.

Weather
The Helicopter Flight Lesson In Lancaster Experience may be cancelled by the Pilot due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to wear
Dress Comfortably. Flat rubber-soled shoes are recommended for this aerial adventure.

Additional Information
Your flight will take place on the Bell 47 or the Schweizer 300CBI. Each provides a very smooth ride and has dual controls.

All participants must have a valid photo ID (passport or driving license). The maximum weight for participants may not exceed 300lbs.

Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate.

All pilots are accident and incident free and the Company has a 100% safety record. Pilots are trained beyond the rating they currently hold and are Certified Flight Instructors.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form prior to flight. If the participant is under the age of 18 a parent or guardian will need to sign the form prior to participation.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Helicopter Flight Lesson In Lancaster Experience require fourteen (14) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
