Learn to Fly a Helicopter during this exciting Discovery Flight Lesson in Orlando! Experience the thrill of flying as you take the Controls of a Robinson R44 over beautiful Central Florida. Your airborne experience begins with ground school conducted at the Kissimmee Gateway Airport. Your Certified Flight Instructor will explain how the helicopter flies, its controls, how to read the gauges, what to look for in conducting the pre-flight inspection, and making sure the helicopter is safe to fly.

Once your ground instruction is complete, you will take to the skies on a 30 minute Flight Lesson, during which you will take the controls of the helicopter with the help of your Instructor. You will experience first-hand the thrill of flying a helicopter and have the chance to experience most flight conditions, including straight and level flight, climbs, turns and descents, plus the most memorable, hovering. After your flight, you are invited to explore the wonderful Kissimmee Air Museum.
