Ride in a Balloon Over the Beautiful Delmarva Peninsula During a Peaceful One Hour Hot Air Balloon Flight

This exciting Hot Air Balloon Ride over the beautiful Delmarva Peninsula begins at sunrise or two hours before sunset, as you help the Pilot and Crew with the inflation of the balloon. Once inflated, you and the rest of the passengers will climb into the basket along with your Pilot as he finishes preparing for the flight.

Once ready, the balloon will gradually ascend above the tree tops, over a thousand feet into the sky. As you float in the balloon, you will travel peacefully at wind speed for approximately one hour. Along the way you will enjoy a bird's eye view of Maryland's Eastern Shore from the air as you sail through the skies, float over corn fields, nearby rivers and treetops.

Towards the end of your journey, the balloon will begin to descend back down to earth where your ride concludes with a wonderful champagne toast. The 360 degree views of the Chesapeake Bay area make this flight a lifetime an experience gift you will never forget! Who
The Hot Air Balloon Over Delmarva Xperience Certificate® is for one participant. There will be five to six additional participants on the flight.

Guests
This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests; spectators may join you for the inflation and launch of the balloon.

When
The Delmarva Balloon Ride Experience is offered April through October, subject to availability. Flights take place at Sunrise and two hours before Sunset. Flight times will vary upon the time of year the flight is scheduled.

Duration
The Delmarva Balloon Ride Experience has a flight time of approximately 1 hour and a total duration of 3 hours.

Weather
The Delmarva Balloon Ride Experience may be cancelled by the Pilot due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather. If a reservation is cancelled due to weather, you will receive a rain-check valid for one year from that date which can be used towards another reservation. The rain-check is non-refundable.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, flat rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this open air adventure.

Additional Information
Participation in the Hot Air Balloon Experience is limited to individuals weighing less than 220 lbs and less than 6'4" tall. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate. Participants must be able to stand for a minimum of 90 minutes, must be able to climb in and out of the basket and should be at least 10 years of age.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form prior to flight. If the participant is under the age of 18 a parent or guardian will need to sign the form prior to participation.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Delmarva Balloon Ride Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
