Your hands are on the wheel of an IndyCar as you drive white knuckled all the way for two thrilling 8 minute driving sessions. Following the checkered flag on your first session, you will pull back into pit road to receive feedback and advice from your racing instructor. Then you will head back on to the race track for session two, working on better racing lines, driving techniques and going even faster.

The program is structured to give you a progressive learning curve, focusing on skill and the overall racing experience. You will enter the track with your instructor, following behind about six to eight car lengths between. As long as you are following the correct driving line and maintaining proper following distance from the car in front of you, the instructor will pick up the speed each lap.

Who
The Indy Car: Checkered Flag Xperience Certificate® is for one participant. There will be approximately twenty additional participants on the track.

Guests
You may invite guests to the track to watch your Indy Car Experience.

When
The Indy Car: Checkered Flag Experience is offered at select locations on specific dates throughout the year, subject to availability.

Duration
The Indy Car Drive: Checkered Flag Experience includes (2) 8 minute driving sessions with a total duration of approximately 3 hours.

Weather
The Indy Car: Checkered Flag Experience may be cancelled by the Instructor due to severe weather such as high winds or heavy rain.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, layers and flat rubber-soled shoes are recommended for this once in a lifetime racing adventure. Participants will be provided with all necessary equipment.

Additional Information
Participation in the Indy Car Experience is limited to individuals 18 years of age with a valid driver's license. For safety reasons participants must be a minimum of 5'0" tall and no more than 6'8" tall and weigh a minimum of 100 lbs. and no more than 280 lbs.

The race cars are purpose built, full sized, Indy-style Race Cars.

Participants will be required to pay an additional Insurance Fee of $25 and an Ear Bud fee of $10 at the time of reservation. The liability insurance fee releases you from all vehicle damage.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Indy Car: Checkered Flag Experience require forty-five (45) days advance notice. Changes to reservations are subject to a $50.00 administrative fee.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.

Indy Car Races

The day and experience was an overall success and my husband throughly enjoyed it. However the organisers should really consider the spectators that come along to support the drivers. It was sweltering heat and there was no shade at all, no food and no seating. With many children and infants there the organisers should really consider this.

Rain delay and more

The instructors were professional and the driving was a blast but everything else needs some improvement. We had a rain delay which probably caused some of the problems but other issues could have been avoided. Beginnging with the two ladies that worked the counter. They were overwhelmed most of the time and if you just needed a bottle of water...forget about it. The communication with the drivers waiting was terrible. They could have explained waiting times better. The could have told the 11:00 group that it was going to take another hour or so to finish up the 8:00 group and then we have about 50 singles to get to before your time to race. Many of had our families wiht us and could have gotten our kids something to eat. In summary, better communication with the drivers and better staffing to accomodate the people paying a lot of money to drive the car!
The 4 rating is for the driving part.

Indycar 14 lap drive

The only way to sum it up was absolutely incredible. You really get a true feeling for not only how the car handles but also an incredible feeling for what a professional goes thru physically. I definitely plan to do this again and next time push the limit even more.
