Dress comfortably, flat, non-marking rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this open water adventure.

Lessons take place with the Piers Park Sailing Center, a 501(c)3 non-profit community sailing center on the East Boston waterfront in Boston's Inner Harbor. Their mission is to use Boston Harbor and the seas beyond to provide year-round recreational, educational and personal growth opportunities for people of all ages and abilities.

Price includes all taxes, however gratuity is not included and can be extended to your Captain following your adventure.

Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe are not eligible to participate. All participants must have a valid photo ID (passport or driving license). Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

 Overall, this was a great experience. My instructor was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We spent about 2+ hours sailing around Boston Harbor and covered enough to understand sailing, safety etc. Would recommend this for anyone.

Question: What happens if there is weather is bad on the day of our class?

Answer: If the trip is cancelled for bad weather you will be rescheduled directly by the sailing school.

Question: Is this class wheelchair accessible?

Answer: Unfortunately the sailboat is not wheelchair accessible.

Question: My brother loves to sail and I'd love to get him a more advanced lesson. Will they cater to his skill level?

Answer: This is an introductory sailing lesson for those who've never sailed before. There will be other participants in the class and the instructors will be going over the basics. You may want to look into some of our other sailing experiences in Boston.
