Kitesurfing is an exciting new water sport that uses wind power to pull a rider through the water on a small surfboard or a kiteboard. Your Southern California Kiteboarding lesson will take place in Long Beach on the Belmont Shore, known as one of the best spots to learn Kiteboarding. During this three-hour lesson on the beach, your instructor will teach you proper site and gear selection, Kite inflating and rigging, safety releases, sign language, launching techniques, flying in the power zones, harness use, how to slide your feet, control the kite as well as line wrapping and handling.

So, whether you are looking to begin a new hobby or simply looking to try it, this Kiteboarding Lesson on the Belmont Shore Beach is one of the most exciting experience gifts in Los Angeles!

Who
The Los Angeles Kiteboarding Lesson Xperience Certificate® is for one participant. There will be additional participants in the lesson.

Guests
You may invite friends and family along to watch the lesson on the beach.

When
The Los Angeles Kiteboarding Lesson Experience is offered seven days a week year-round, subject to availability. Lessons typically begin at 11:30 AM or 2:00 PM.

Duration
The Los Angeles Kiteboarding Lesson Experience includes 3 hours of instruction and has a total duration of approximately 3¼ hours.

Weather
The Los Angeles Kiteboarding Lesson Experience may be cancelled by the Instructor due to poor weather conditions. If the reservation is cancelled by the Instructor, it may be rescheduled for a mutually convenient alternative date.

What to wear
Dress comfortably in swimwear. Sun glasses and sunscreen as well as a change of clothing is recommended.

Additional Information
Price includes tax plus all gear and equipment. Equiptment used is Ocean Rodeo, Best and Cabrinha. Single Lessons will take place on land only.

Participants must be at least 10 years of age and be able to swim. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by parent or guardian. Lifejackets are provided and must be worn at all times. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate.

Gratuities are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Los Angeles Kiteboarding Lesson Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
