Discover and explore the beauty of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula as you and your guest enjoy a half day Cross Country Skiing tour along Lake Michigan’s Dunes.

You will ski through the pristine white snow and inhale the crisp, clean air as your knowledgeable naturalist guide points out and discusses the unique natural inhabitants along the way. As you ski along the Lake’s shore, you will encounter the Pileated Woodpecker and other hardy birds, who survive in these Upper Peninsula winters, learn about winter ecology and discover how to read animal signs.

The highlight of this outdoor cross country skiing adventure is the view of the beautiful landscape overlooking the ice caves and blue waters of Lake Michigan. Whether you are an avid cross country skier, or new to the sport and simply looking to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, this Upper Peninsula Skiing adventure provides you and your guest with the perfect opportunity to spend time together and take in the beauty of Lake Michigan.

The Lake Michigan Dunes Cross Country Skiing For Two Xperience Certificate® is for two participants. There will be additional participants in your group.

Guests
This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests.

When
The Lake Michigan Dunes Cross Country Skiing Experience is offered seven days a week, December thru March, subject to availability.

Duration
The Lake Michigan Dunes Cross Country Skiing Experience has a tour length of 3½ hours and a total duration approximately 4 hours.

Weather
The Lake Michigan Dunes Cross Country Skiing Experience may be cancelled by the Guide due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to wear
Warm, waterproof, snow gear is required for this outdoor adventure. Layers and protection from the sun (ie. hat, sunglasses, sun screen) are highly recommended.

Additional Information
Skis and lunch are included.

Gratuity for your Guide is not included and may be extended in the form of cash following your adventure.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Lake Michigan Dunes Cross Country Skiing Experience require fourteen (14) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
