Enjoy a spectacular two-hour skippered charter afternoon sail or sunset sail on beautiful Lake Michigan. Upon your arrival at Gaslight Pointe Marina, located in Racine, Wisconsin, you and your guests will board the Espiritu, a classic 41’ Newport Sailing Vessel, designed to glide through the sapphire blue waters of the Country’s largest freshwater lake.

On this special nautical adventure, you will enjoy a private sail along the picturesque shoreline of Lake Michigan, enjoying the breathtaking sites of the beach towns that surround the lake. Breathe in the crisp sea air as you enjoy two hours of uninterrupted sailing pleasure aboard this wonderful sightseeing cruise. Wind and weather may vary, but never in doubt is the magnificence and sheer natural beauty of the Great Lakes and their beaches. During this exciting sailing charter, Captain John and his First Mate will assure that you enjoy a very personalized experience, providing you with snacks and beverages during the sail.

So whether you choose to try your hand at the helm, raise the sails or simply spend time on Lake Michigan together creating memories with friends and family. Experience Lake Michigan's infamous beauty onboard this magnificent private sailing adventure in Racine.

Who
The Lake Michigan Sailing Charter Xperience Certificate® is for two participants. This is a private experience.

Guests
You may invite up to five additional guests to join you on the sail for a total of six (6) participants.

When
The Lake Michigan Sailing Charter Experience is offered seven days a week, May thru October, subject to availability.

Duration
The Lake Michigan Sailing Charter Experience has a sail time of approximately 2 hours and a total experience time of approximately 2½ hours, unless an Extended Sail Option is selected.

Weather
The Lake Michigan Sailing Charter may be cancelled by the Captain due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to wear
Comfortable clothing and layers are best for this nautical adventure. Light rubber-soled shoes are required. Sunglasses, hats and sunscreen are also highly recommended.

Additional Information
Sails take place on the board the Espiritu a classic, fully-equipped 41’ Newport sailing vessel. This beautiful sailboat has all of the comforts of home with state-of-the-art electronics, CD, DVD, HD stereo, HD TV, full Galley, and restroom.

Full meals are not provided, but you may bring food and beverages onboard. The final details of your trip will be decided on the day of your experience, taking into account your preferences, experience and the day's conditions.

Your Captain, John Gauthier, is a licensed Great Lakes Captain with over 20 years of sailing experience.

Participation in the experience is limited to individuals 3 years of age or older. While motion sickness is possible, it is unlikely and can be reduced by avoiding heavy meal(s) prior to the scheduled sail. All passengers must sign a Liability Release Form. Gratuity for the Captain and Crew is not included, but may be extended following your sail.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Lake Michigan Sailing Charter Experience require fourteen (14) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
