Flights take place on the ECO-Star EC-130 helicopter. The ECO-Star is the most modern helicopter flown in Las Vegas and offers the highest level of safety in the industry. The helicopters are equipped with seven seats plus the pilot. The seating arrangement is determined by the pilot based on the passengers' weights. Participation in the Las Vegas Lights Helicopter Tour Experience is limited to individuals weighing less than 300lbs. Guests over the weight limit will be required to purchase two seats. All participants must have a valid photo ID (passport or driving license).

Vegas Heli Tour
If you have never flown in a Helicopter before this is a great way to try it out in a super modern flying machine. The flight takes about 15 minutes and seems very short. You basically fly from Mandalay Bay to Stratosphere and back again. The pilot seemed very borred but he were very helpful with taking your pictures. They added $5 fuel surcharge per person when we got there.

Above the Crowds
This experience was superb! A little short in duration for the bucks, but I knew that going in. This was purchased as a surprise birthday gift and it was a huge hit! A 'first' (helicopter ride) for both of us, it was totally awesome.

Question: We would like to take the helicopter lights tour but we are bringing our 2 yr old daughter. Would she be able to do the copter tour with us?
Answer: Children are allowed on the Helicopter Tour. Children over the age of 24 months will need to pay full price for the tour as FAA regulations require children over 24 months to ride in a seat and not on a lap.
