Price for 1 participant
Experience the thrill of Flying a Helicopter as you take the controls of a Robinson R44. Your experience begins with 30 minutes of ground instruction where you will learn how the helicopter flies, what each control does, how to read the gauges, what to look for when conducting the pre-flight inspection to making sure the helicopter is safe to fly.
After the completion of your ground instruction, you will take to the air on a 30 minute Helicopter Flight Lesson, during which you will take over the controls, with the help of your flight instructor, for the unique opportunity of piloting a helicopter. This flight is conducted at Twin Lakes Airport and you will fly over Greensboro. Flight Students will have the chance to experience most flight conditions, including: straight and level flight, climbs, turns and descents, plus the most memorable, hovering.
With the ground school and flight combined, by the end of this aerial experience, you will have a basic understanding of how to fly the helicopter on your own!

Question: If I got this for my boyfriend, would I be able to ride in the back?
Answer: The Learn To Fly A Helicopter in Greensboro Xperience Certificate® is for one participant. This experience is not suitable for guests. Unfortunately, this flight school does not allow guests in the aircraft during the lesson. However, you are welcome to join him at the airport.
Question: I noticed that a birth certificate is required if no passport is available. My husband lost his birth certificate some years ago after we got married and he has not obtained a new one yet. He has his drivers license, wedding certificate, and even his military discharge papers. Would that be sufficient instead of a birth certificate?
Answer: If your husband has a US issued Driver's License, then that is all he will need to present for identification on the day of the flight lesson.
