Learn to fly an airplane during an exciting hands-on Flying Lesson over Ocala! After you meet your Certified Flight Instructor at the Ocala International Airport, you will climb into a Cessna 172 and experience the thrill of taking the controls of a light aircraft during this introductory 30 minute scenic discovery flight.

You will soar 3,000 feet over beautiful Central Florida in this light aircraft. Before the fun begins, you will receive a briefing from your Flight Instructor on the techniques and safety aspects of light aircraft flying. After your briefing, you will hop into the co-pilot's seat and prepare for takeoff with the Certified Pilot by your side, guiding you every step of the way, until landing.

Whether you are looking to begin a new hobby or you are simply interested in seeing what it is like to fly a plane, this experience will be unforgettable and is a unique gift for any occasion!

This experience is not suitable for guests.

When
The Ocala Introductory Flight Lesson Experience is offered seven days a week, year-round, subject to availability. Flights may be scheduled between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Duration
The Ocala Introductory Flight Lesson Experience has a flight time of approximately 30 minutes and a total duration of approximately 45 minutes, unless an Extended Flight Option is selected.

Weather
The Ocala Introductory Flight Lesson may be rescheduled by the Instructor due to severe weather such as high winds, fog or rain. If the flight is cancelled by the Pilot, it may be rescheduled for a mutually convenient alternative date.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, layers and flat rubber-soled athletic shoes are recommended for this aerial adventure.

Additional Information
Participation in the Ocala Introductory Flight Lesson Experience has a participant weight limit of 250lbs.

Participant must be at least 12 years of age or older. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered by the Instructor to be unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate.

Participants are required to show a valid form of ID and they will be required to sign a Liability Release Form.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Ocala Introductory Flight Lesson Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
