Explore the best Farmer’s Market in all of New York during this delicious two and a half hour Saratoga Springs Food Tour. You will discover the delicious flavors of Upstate New York while learning about its rich history.

The gastronomic adventure begins when you meet your knowledgeable Food Guide in the picturesque town of Saratoga Springs. You and the rest of the guests will be escorted to the famous Saratoga Farmer’s Market, where you will savor mouth-watering cheeses, tapenades and home-made jams all produced by local food artisans. After a pleasant stroll through the Market, it’s on to Broadway for a visit with several of Saratoga’s Chefs and Purveyors of the City’s most unique and interesting food emporiums. They will fill you in on their delicacies and, of course offer tastings of the day’s freshest treats.

The Saratoga Springs Food Tours are offered on Saturdays May thru October, subject to availability. Tours typically begin at 11:00 AM.

The Saratoga Springs Farmer's Market Tours take place in all weather conditions.

What To Wear

Dress comfortably. Flat rubber-soled walking shoes are recommended for this culinary adventure.

Additional Information

Tours include about 2 miles of walking, a complimentary bottle of water, and at least 8 tastings of delicious, homemade and local food. For most people, it is more than enough to fill them up for lunch.

Tours end 5 blocks from the meeting location. Ponchos may be provided in the event of sudden weather changes. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance notice.

Participants are advised to bring spending money as they will have the opportunity to purchase additional food, beverages, gifts and souvenirs on the tour.

Gratuities for your tour guide are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event.

Despite the 95 degree heat the tour was excellent. From the farmers market right through dessert at The Adelphi Hotel the experience was enjoyable. Our tour guide Joe provided interesting historical facts throughout the tour and the merchants/hosts were welcoming and generous with their time and products.

Question: I'd like to give my parents an Experience Days certificate for the Saratoga Food Tour. How far do they walk and is it strenuous?

Answer: It is a 2 1/2 hour tour with about two miles of walking, and guests should expect to be standing most of the time. There are 2 rest breaks on the way that last about 15 to 20 minutes each. There is also a few flights of stairs they will have to climb during the tour. All age groups and fitness levels are welcome.
Question: I received this Food Tour for my birthday and will be driving in from Maltaville. Is there parking near meeting location?

Answer: There is both public and private parking near the meeting point.
Question: I am looking for an experience gift, specifically a food tour, for my mother-in-law who is wheelchair bound. Is this tour wheelchair accessible?

Answer: Unfortunately because of stairs, uneven terrain and tight spaces, this tour is not recommended for individuals using a wheelchair.
