As you board the Island Queen at the Lower Mississippi River in Memphis, prepare to enjoy a 1½ hour Boat Tour on the Mighty Mississippi in Tennessee passing by the many marinas, houseboats, and commercial docks. As the River Boat makes its way around the Mississippi and cruises past some of the most unique properties in the area, you will enjoy spectacular views that only a Tour on a Boat can offer.

You may relax onboard and learn about Mark Twain’s historical tales of river life and lore and the Sultana, one of the worst American maritime disasters to date from your knowledgeable tour guide. Upon your return, you will skirt the opposite side of the river and arrive at the dock having learned the historical importance and beauty of the Mississippi River and Memphis. This Sightseeing Riverboat Cruise is the perfect way to spend time together and enjoy a relaxing and educational afternoon outdoor adventure.

The Mississippi River Sightseeing Cruise For Four Xperience Certificate® is for four participants. There will be up to 150 additional guests onboard the ship.

This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests.

When
The Mississippi River Sightseeing Cruise Experience is offered seven days a week March thru November, subject to availability. Trips depart Monday through Friday at 2:30 PM and on Saturdays and Sundays at 2:30 PM and at 5:00 PM.

Duration
The Mississippi River Sightseeing Cruise Experience is 1½ hours in length and has a total duration of approximately 2 hours.

Weather
The Mississippi River Sightseeing Cruise Experience may be cancelled by the Captain due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, flat, non-marking rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this nautical adventure.
