Whether you are a beginner wanting to experience rock climbing in a safe professional setting; or you’re an intermediate to expert rock climber looking to hone your skills, the Mountains Skills Climbing Lesson is the perfect experience. Learn to rock climb, beat the crowds, put up first ascents, or sport climb at your limit. Professional guides will take you to the perfect location for your ability level and teach you the skills that will last a lifetime.

First timers will receive a general introduction to technique and procedure. Hands on instruction includes: basic knots, belay and rappel techniques, climbing communication, safety procedures, and moving on the rock. Climbers will be gradually introduced to varying degrees of height and difficulty as your comfort level increases.

Experience climbers will be able to tailor the lesson and focus on the skills they are looking to improve. This experience is a great way to spend time outdoors, learn a new skill, perfect your rock climbing abilities and have fun!

Who
The Mountain Skills Climbing Lesson Xperience Certificate® is for one participant. This is a private lesson.

Guests
This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests.

When
The Mountain Skills Climbing Lesson Experience is offered seven days a week year-round, subject to availability. Lessons typically begin at 9:30 AM.

Duration
The Mountain Skills Climbing Lesson Experience has a lesson time of 6 to 7 hours.

Weather
The Mountain Skills Climbing Lesson Experience may be cancelled by the Instructor due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather.

What to wear
Please wear flexible and comfortable clothing appropriate for the outdoors.

Additional Information
No climbing experience is necessary. All gear: climbing harness, climbing shoes, carabiners, ropes, webbing, cord, belay devices, etc is provided for the lesson. All Instructors are experienced climbers and have a minimum of 15 years rock climbing experience. Instructors are chosen for their enthusiasm and ability to teach with patience and effectiveness. Gratuity is not included and can be extended to your Instructor following your lesson.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form. If the participant is under the age of 18 a parent or guardian will need to sign the form prior to participation.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Mountain Skills Climbing Lesson Experience require fourteen (14) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
