The mid-town tour was an interesting experience. We went to 5 chocolatiers and tried 2 chocolates each. There was a good variety of chocolates. We also had hot chocolate at an Irish place that was good. Our guide was friendly and well informed. And we enjoyed talking to her. In summary, it was enjoyable.

Our tour was excellent. The tour guide, Brooke, was knowledgeable and very friendly. She answered all our questions, and explained all the different tastes, and how to best enjoy the chocolate. The only disappointment for us, was when we went back to purchase some chocolate, Neuhaus chocolatier did not give us the 10% discount that we were told we would get if we returned and mentioned the tour. The other chocolatier place did give us the discount. We recommended this tour to our friends, as we did enjoy it, but let them know about the problem with the discount. We would not hesitate to do another tour with your company, as everything was excellent and fun.

We had a lot of fun. It was a glorious day to walk around NYC to see all the beautiful buildings that surround us. The chocolates were very yummy it was actually more than I could eat so it was a treat to take some home.

The tour guide was very nice, great personality and made the tour very enjoyable. If you are expecting to see machines mixing the cocoa this is the wrong tour. Overall very nice.

We had a great time our guide Lindsey, was very helpful. She kept us on time and offered her thoughts, which helped us select the best ones. After the forth shop of delicious chocolates, you are ready to save the next piece to take home. Although you do go back to your favorite shop and buy some for the trip home. The tour was on Saturday, Sept 19, 2010, the weather was great.

The tour was fine. The person taking us on the tour was knowledgable and personable.

We took our tour the day after an 8-inch snowstorm in New York City. Since I love snow, this was probably the most ideal conditions for a cozy little chocolate tour. Our guide was very personable and bubbly and the chocolates were DELICIOUS! It's also a perfect thing to do right before Christmas because you can pick up spectacular gifts along the way! Highly recommended.

Question: Can someone who has a nut allergy participate in this food tour?
Answer: Yes people with nut allergies are able to participate in this experience, however, there is no guarantee how many of the samples they would be able to enjoy due to the allergy.
For individuals who have a nut allergy we would recommend selecting one of the alternative New York Food Tours.
