Want to experience the thrills of racing a dune buggy on the sands of Nevada? Get behind the wheel and take off across Nellis Dunes.
Participation in the Nellis Dunes Off-Road Adventure Experience is limited to individuals weighing less than 250lbs. and over 18 years old with a valid driver's license. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate. Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form. Price includes travel to and from Las Vegas to Nellis Dunes, all taxes and park fees.
Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made. |

We made reservations for April 2010 and had a blast! Only issue was we were towards the back of our group and 'lost' sight of our flags. We found flags but they were not our group. We'd recommend different color flags for each group out there. We would definitely do again!

Nellis Dunes
It was fun. Blasting through the sand in the buggy was cool, and they are very capable little vehicles. But there are some discrepancies from the description given on your site. First of all, there is a speed limit imposed by the company that rents the buggies. They are also much smaller than what you show in your pictures. A guide leads the group, so it's kind of follow-the-leader as opposed to free exploration. But it was a lot of fun. Chasing the guide through the washes was a blast, and the buggies really do climb up the dunes pretty well. I would do it again.
