We loved it. he ride is approximately 1.75 hours. The dinner was great. They offered an appetizer, salad, dinner and dessert. The appetizers were shrimp cocktail or fresh fruit & yogurt. The salad was fresh greens with walnuts and blue cheese and dinner was steak, haddock or chicken Marsala. Dessert was excellent, Italian cake! We would do this again!!

The Dinner Train railroad car was very nicely decorated. I loved the woodwork. The tables were very close together, but there was just enough room for comfort. The waitress staff was very friendly and attentive. The menu was diverse and the food was delicious. My only complaint on the food would be that the 'mini caeser salad' was definitely small and could have been a little bit bigger. I also think that there should have been a choice of at least 2 desserts. I personally don't care for Tiriemi Sue (I don't even know how to spell it). Even though our meal was a gift, it was not inexpensive for those that had to pay and a choice would have been preferable. The train ride itself was very slow, but that was fine. Unfortunately, because of the foliage, we couldn't see anything of the mountains or anything scenic. All we really saw was people's backyards, trees lining the tracks and one or two dry riverbeds. The couple we sat across from was very pleasant and overall, we had a wonderful time, the waitstaff was pleasant, the drinks were not overpriced as we were afraid they might be and we would do it again someday.
