Experience the fun of flying a plane! During this thrilling experience gift you will discover firsthand the thrill of flying a light aircraft during this 30 minute First Flight Lesson in New Orleans.

The adventure begins when you meet with your Certified Flight Instructor at the Lakefront Airport. The Pilot will escort you on to the tarmac where you will participate in the preflight safety check of the Cessna. Once ready, the Pilot will taxi the plane down the runway and take-off into the Louisiana skies. During the flight you will have the opportunity to take over the controls and pilot the plane!

So whether you have always wanted to fly a plane or you are looking for a unique gift, this New Orleans Flying Lesson is the ticket!

Who
The New Orleans Introductory Flight Lesson Xperience Certificate® is for one participant.

Guests
This experience is not suitable for guests. However, spectators may join you at the airport.

When
The Flight Lesson In New Orleans is offered seven days a week year-round, subject to availability. Flights may be scheduled between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Duration
The Discovery Flight Lesson includes 5 to 10 minutes of ground instruction and 10 to 15 minutes of flight time with a total duration of approximately 30 minutes, unless an Extended Flight Option is selected.

Weather
The New Orleans Flying Lesson may be rescheduled by the Instructor due to severe weather such as high winds, fog or heavy rain.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, layers and flat rubber-soled athletic shoes are recommended for this aerial adventure.

Additional Information
The Flight Lesson will take place in either a Cessna 152 or 172. Participation is limited to individuals weighing less than 250lbs. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form prior to flight. If the participant is under the age of 18 a parent or guardian will need to sign the form prior to participation.

Gratuity for the Instructor is not included and should be extended following the flight.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the New Orleans Introductory Flight Lesson require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
