Your New River whitewater rafting adventure takes place on one of the oldest and most peculiar rivers in the World, known for its multiple class levels and excitement.

Your day begins at the Fayetteville base camp where you will meet your guide and prepare for your whitewater adventure. You will then be taken to the launch site to enjoy seven scenic miles of fabulous Class I to Class III rafting from historic Thurmond to Cunard. Beginners and families who are looking for an adventure without going to the extreme will enjoy the beauty of the New River Gorge. Near the end of this excursion you'll get a taste of what's in store for you if you decide to try the lower section of the mighty New River. Before heading back to base camp you will also enjoy a delicious picnic lunch on the banks of the river.
