Discover the mouth-watering world of Craft Beer during this two-hour Manhattan Tall Ship Sailing excursion. Aboard the beautiful Clipper City Tall Ship, a 158 foot Topsail Schooner, you and your guest will discover tasty new brews as you learn about the art of beer.

Departing from South Street Seaport on the East River, this beautiful 1¾ hour sightseeing sail in New York Harbor is a great way to spend time together and enjoy all that NYC has to offer. Once you and your guest are onboard, the boat will sail south down the East River past Battery Park, providing you with amazing views of Manhattan and Brooklyn along the way. During your sail, you will taste several outstanding ales and lagers paired with cheeses and charcuterie.

This NYC Sail is the perfect way to enjoy the water and a craft beer tasting. Whether you are a New Yorker, or this is your first visit to the Big Apple, this beer sail on the East River is one of the best things to do in New York City and is unique gift for every occasion.

Who
The New York Craft Beer Tasting Sail Xperience Certificate® is for two participants. There will be up to 140 additional participants on the sail.

Guests
This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests.

When
The New York Craft Beer Tasting Sail Experience is offered Saturday afternoons from the end of April through October, subject to availability. Sails depart at 12:00 PM.

Duration
The New York Craft Beer Tasting Sail Experience has a sail time of approximately 1¾ hours and a total duration of approximately 2 hours.

Weather
The New York Craft Beer Tasting Sail Experience may be cancelled by the Captain due to high winds, heavy rain, fog or other inclement weather. If a reservation is cancelled due to weather, you will receive a rain-check valid for one year from that date which can be used towards another reservation. The rain-check is non-refundable.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, flat, non-marking rubber-soled shoes and layers are recommended for this sailing adventure.

Additional Information
The Clipper City is 158' long, with masts and rigging reaching up 120' from the deck, and is New York’s largest sailing vessel. The Ship, which can accommodate up to 144 passengers, is a replica of the lumber-hauling schooners from more than a century ago. It was built in the mid-1980s using plans purchased from the Smithsonian. Her decks are spacious and comfortable, with ample seating, a full bar and a raised quarter deck back aft that allows for unparalleled views of the the New York harbor.

Sails depart daily from South Street Seaport.

Gratuities for your Captain & Crew are not included but are greatly appreciated and may be offered at the end of the event. Additional beverages are not included and may be purchased onboard the Ship. Participants must be 21 years of age or older and show valid Photo ID upon boarding.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the New York Craft Beer Tasting Sail Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
