The Painting Classes are offered Monday thru Friday and Sundays year-round, subject to availability. Classes can typically be scheduled between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

Painting Classes take place on the Upper West Side of Manhattan at the Art Studio NY founded by Rebecca Schweiger, an Internationally Renowned Contemporary Painter. Her work has been displayed in over 50 galleries and museums throughout the world, and her is included in hundreds of private collections.

Materials for the class are included in the price, except for canvases which may be purchased at the Studio for about $10, depending on which canvas you choose. No experience is necessary. Participants must be 10 years of age or older.

All changes to reservations for the New York Private Painting Class Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.

Question: Are all of the materials I'll need included in the price of the class?

Answer: Everything except the canvass. The canvass will be available for purchase at the studio.
Question: The Manhattan Private Painting Class says that I may invite a guest. Does the guest get to participate?

Answer: Yes. The price is the same for one or two participants.
Question: Is this art lesson held in a studio?

Answer: Yes. Exact location details and directions will be provided in your confirmation letter. You may choose an outdoor location near the studio of you like, however if the weather is bad the class will not be cancelled and will revert back to the studio. Also, if you choose an outdoor location and need a canvass, be sure to call ahead and let your instructor know.
