Your experience will begin with a brief ground school session that introduces you to the fundamentals of paraglider control, launching, and landing. Next, you will spend a few minutes in a flight simulator to adjust your harness and get a feel for the glider's controls. Then when you're ready, you will be "connected" and off on your first flight!

A USHPA certified tandem instructor will be in control for the first moments of your flight, but shortly after take-off you will have the opportunity to take the controls. As you reach the top of your climb out, your instructor will release the glider from the tow line, allowing you to enjoy free flight over the beach and ocean below. As you near the end of your flight, your instructor will again take the controls for the final approach and landing. Afterwards, you will never look at the sky the same way again!
