Working with a Professional Perfumer in Manhattan, you will discover the complexities of olfactory tenacity and intensity as you compose your very own signature fragrance.

The experience begins as you learn about the sense of smell - physiology and emotional responses - plus, odor-memorizing principles and techniques. You will also discover the different types of raw materials used to create perfume and how fragrances are typically made. Once you have found the aromas which will join together to create your custom fragrance, you will work with the Perfumer to add the perfect amount of each component in order to develop your perfect scent.

Since 1976, Cinqui�me Sens has devoted its expertise to the creation of perfume as well as transmission of the knowledge of perfumery technique and culture. Cinqui�me Sens is a registered training center targeting mainly perfume professionals who wish to expand, perfect, or structure their knowledge in the language of perfumery. Thirty years of educating has enabled the company to develop a method of olfactory training which includes the Introduction to Creation.

Participants will each take away a 30 ml bottle of their unique creation.
