It was a great tour with lots of different foods to try. Our tour guide Rochelle was very knowledgable and seemed to really enjoy it. We couldn't find our tour at first but that may have been our fault. Definitely would consider doing another tour for something different.

My wife and I had recieved a gift certificate from our children two years ago and after finally making some time for the food tour we called and booked our tour for our 25th anniversay. The tour was informative, fun and tasty. We started the tour in the Reading Terminal market where we visted the local farmer's market, Mediterranean food stall and the flying monkey desserts, we then walked to the DiBruni Bros food market on 17th St., where we were treated to an interesting discussion on cheeses and got to taste several different and new cheeses. After making our purchases (we bought something at each visit) we ended up at a Gellato bar at 20th and Sansom and had a taste test of six different flavors of Gellato, what a nice way to end the tour and begin our walk back to the Terminal. Would highly recommend the tour, even to former locals (we lived in south Philly for several years 25 years ago) and we learned a lot of new things about food and especially cheeses at DiBruni's. Thank you!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience we had on Saturday, June 11, 2011. The food and info were great, but our tour guide, Teagan, made the day. She was cheerful, friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to be around. We are happy to recommend this to anyone!

I wasn't blown away, but it was still a pretty good tour. We had a very intelligent PhD as a guide. She did a very good job of presenting us with all of the knowledge about cheese, chocolate, and gelato. Aside from the nice bag of chocolate, I would have preferred more take home items, especially in the cheese section, but you can't always get what you want, and I am sure a line has to be drawn somewhere.

What an amazing experience. Robert, our guide was PERFECT. The treats were amazing and the stories even better. We loved this tour so much, we decided it to buy it as a gift for our friends! AMAZING TIME!

I bought this for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day when I was living in Philly. We have since moved to Maryland, and spent the weekend back in Philly. This tour was fantastic! I wish we had done it before I moved away. The tour guide was terrific...he gave us so much information, not just about cheese, chocolate, and gelato...but wine, restaurants, and more. It was a fantastic day!!

My husband and I received the Philadelphia City Food Tour as a Christmas gift from our daughters. We scheduled our tour for last weekend and enjoyed every minute of it! Our guide, Eric, was most knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic, treating us as if we were royalty. He taught us so much about cheese, chocolate and gelatto! We now feel like experts in the field. When I came to work on Monday I told many of my friends about the experience. Not only do they want to go on the tour themselves, they thought it would be a much better gift for someone than a usual restaurant gift certificate! Thank you for the opportunity to review our experience!
