Experience a tandem introduction to the skies during a breathtaking 3,000 ft Tandem Hang Gliding Flight over Maricopa, Arizona. You will meet with your Certified Instructor at the Phoenix Regional Airport, just 40 miles south of Phoenix, and learn to fly like a bird during this exciting airborne adventure.

Following a brief orientation, you and your Instructor will be towed by a powerful ultralight 3,000 feet into the blue Arizona sky. Once you reach your altitude, your Instructor will release the towline, thereby allowing you to freely experience the purest form of flight - Hang Gliding. Throughout this hang gliding adventure, your Instructor will handle the more technical aspects of the launch, tow and landing and even offer you the opportunity to try your hand at piloting the glider during flight!

This Phoenix Airborne Adventure provides you with a wonderful way to learn about hang gliding, is a great way to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and is the perfect gift for anyone who dreams of flying!

Who
The Phoenix Hang Gliding Xperience Certificate® is for one participant.

Guests
You may invite guests to watch your take off and landing.

When
The Phoenix Hang Gliding Experience is offered Saturdays and Sundays October thru April, subject to availability. Flights are typically scheduled between 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM and 3:30 PM to Sundown.

Duration
The Phoenix Hang Gliding Experience includes one Aero-Tow 3’000 ft flight and has an average free flight length of 10 minutes and a total duration of 30 minutes.

Weather
The Phoenix Hang Gliding Experience may be cancelled by the Instructor due to poor weather conditions such as high winds or heavy rain.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, layers and flat rubber-soled athletic shoes are recommended for this aerial adventure. Participants will be provided with all necessary equipment.

Additional Information
Participation is limited to individuals weighing less than 200lbs and are at least 6 years of age. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe are not eligible to participate.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form. Participants under the age of 18 require written consent by a parent or legal guardian on the day of flight.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Phoenix Hang Gliding Experience require fourteen (14) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
