Take the controls of a Cessna 172 and learn the basics of aviation during this Introductory Flight Lesson from Witham Field in Stuart, FL. Your Discovery Flight begins with 15 minutes of ground instruction during which your Certified Flight Instructor will go over all of the aircraft controls and safety procedures.

After the pre-flight safety check and aircraft intro is complete, it's time to start the engines! Upon clearance from the control tower, the Pilot will taxi the light aircraft down the runway and it's time for take-off! Once in the air, you will spend 60 minutes learning how to fly over the beautiful Southern Coast of Florida.

So whether you're looking to begin a new hobby or you have simply always wanted to try it, you’ll be able to say that you’ve flown a plane during one of the most exciting experience gifts in Florida - the Stuart Discovery Flying Lesson.

Who
The Port St Lucie Discovery Flight Lesson Xperience Certificate® is for one participant.

Guests
You may invite one guest to join you for your Flying Lesson. (The maximum combined weight of both passengers may not exceed 375lbs.)

When
The Florida Discovery Flight Lesson is offered seven days a week year-round, subject to availability. Flights may be scheduled between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Duration
The Port St Lucie Flying Lesson includes 15 minutes of ground instruction and flight length of 60 minutes with a total duration of approximately 1¼ hours.

Weather
The Discovery Flight Over Port St Lucie may be cancelled by the Instructor due to severe weather such as high winds, fog or heavy rain. If the Flight Lesson is cancelled by the Instructor, it will be rescheduled by the Flight School.

What to wear
Dress comfortably, layers and flat rubber-soled athletic shoes are recommended for this aerial adventure.

Additional Information
The Flight Lesson will take place in a Cessna 172. Participation is limited to individuals 14 years of age or older weighing less than 250lbs. Individuals who are pregnant, have broken bones or other physical conditions which are considered unsafe conditions are not eligible to participate.

Participants are required to sign a Liability Release Form prior to flight. If the participant is under the age of 18 a parent or guardian will need to sign the form prior to participation.

Cancellation Policy
All changes to reservations for the Port St Lucie Discovery Flight Lesson Experience require seven (7) days advance notice.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
