Take a journey through a natural palm oasis, spectacular box and slot canyons, and an ancient fossil bed as your jeep winds its way through the incredible maze created by the San Andreas Fault on the 3½ hour San Andreas Nightwatch Adventure.

This experience is a nocturnal voyage among surreal shadows and darkness on a cooling desert landscape. Your journey begins before sunset as you explore steep-walled canyons, a natural palm oasis and the EPICENTER Earthquake Education Center. Then, as the sun begins to set, you will witness the spectacular transition from day to night as light casts amazing shadows on the mountains, creating a depth and range of colors unseen during the day. As darkness overtakes you, the clear desert sky comes alive with stars twinkling in the heavens above. Let the knowledgeable guides point out constellations, planets and stars and learn the mythology attributed to them.

Who
The San Andreas Nightwatch Adventure Xperience Certificate® is for one participant. You will be joined by up to six additional participants in the Jeep.

Guests
This experience is not suitable for non-paying guests.

When
The San Andreas Fault Nightwatch Adventure Experience is offered seven days a week May thru September, subject to availability. Tours are offered approximately 2½ prior to sunset.

Duration
The San Andreas Fault Nightwatch Adventure Experience has a tour length of 3½ hours and a total duration of approximately 4 hours.

Weather
The San Andreas Fault Fault Nightwatch Adventure Experience may be cancelled due to heavy rain, poor trail conditions or other inclement weather.

What to wear
Dress comfortably in clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty. Close-toe and flat-heal shoes are recommended for this outdoor adventure.

This tour can be bumpy at times and is not recommended for children under 4 years of age or individuals with neck or back injuries. Women who may be pregnant are advised to consult with their doctor prior to participating in this experience.

Xperience Certificates® cannot be exchanged once a reservation for the experience has been made.
